Due to an unfortunate turn of events, I ended up watching the movie “Twilight” with my wife the weekend that it opened. Now this is not a movie that I would normally go see, but since she was going to go with a group of friends that ended up bailing on her, I went with her so that she wouldn’t have to go alone. (See sometimes I am a nice guy!) Boy! Was I surprised by this movie. I actually liked it!
After seeing the movie I had many questions that could only be answered by reading the book. After pursuing driving my wife crazy, I decided that it would be best to just read it for myself. So, I swallow my pride and ask if I could read her copy of “Twilight”. Wow! This book is pretty good, for juvenile fiction. If you want a quick, entertaining read, try “Twilight”, by Stephanie Meyer.
Since, I was behind on listening to “Security Now” starring Steve Gibson, due to having gone on an Audible audiobook binge, I thought I would get caught up. Much to my surprise, during the Audible commercial, Leo Laporte recommends the “Twilight” series, which was recently added to Audible’s massive collection. Cool, now Leo is going to listen to the entire series while traveling to France. Well, I agree.
